Cafeteria Cook Interview Questions

There are 2 different sets of questions for this title
1 Share an example of a time you had to gather information from multiple sources. How did you determine which information was relevant?
2 Share an effective method you have used to ensure cleanliness and functional operation of work areas and equipment.
3 Share an example of when you went above and beyond the "call of duty". (Look for answers that show the candidate is dependable.)
4 Provide an experience in which you effectively ensured the use of proper procedures with government food commodities.
5 Describe your experience cleaning, cutting, and cooking meat, fish, and poultry.
6 Provide an effective method you have used to ensure that meals are prepared economically.
7 Describe the methods you use to plan menus.
8 What is the state of your records of food use and expenditures?
9 Share an experience in which you successfully directed workers in preparing and serving meals. What methods made you successful?
10 How do you balance cooperation with others and independent thinking? Share an example. (Try to determine if the candidate has a cooperative attitude or is otherwise good-natured.)
11 Provide an example when your ethics were tested.
12 Share an experience in which your attention to detail and thoroughness had an impact on your last company.
13 Provide an experience in which you successfully trained new employees. What made you a successful trainer?
14 What is the key to success when communicating with the public.
15 Name a time when your patience was tested. How did you keep your emotions in check?
