Animal Breeder Interview Questions

There are 2 different sets of questions for this title
1 Describe ways to feed and water animals, and clean and disinfect pens, cages, yards, and hutches. Which way did you find most effective?
2 Explain what procedures you use to examine animals in order to detect symptoms of illness or injury.
3 Walk me through how you select animals to be bred, and semen specimens to be used, according to knowledge of animals, genealogies, traits, and desired offspring characteristics.
4 Expound on how you would treat minor injuries and ailments, and contact veterinarians in order to obtain treatment for animals with serious illnesses or injuries.
5 Which method have you found most helpful when placing vaccines in drinking water, inject vaccines, or dust air with vaccine powder, in order to protect animals from diseases.
6 Tell me about a recent experience you've had working with your hands.
7 Tell me about the last time you monitored or reviewed information and detected a problem. How did you respond?
8 Share an example of a time you had to gather information from multiple sources. How did you determine which information was relevant?
9 Describe an experience where you had to attach rubber collecting sheaths to genitals of tethered bull, and stimulate animal's organ in order to induce ejaculation.
10 How do you stay fit in order to perform physical activities that are required in the workplace?
11 Is there a certain procedure when preparing containers of semen for freezing and storage or shipment, placing them in dry ice or liquid nitrogen? Please explain.
12 Please give an example of how you would package and label semen to be used for artificial insemination, recording information such as the date, source, quality, and concentration.
13 Tell me how you maintain logs of semen specimens used and animals bred.
14 Share an example of when you went above and beyond the "call of duty". (Look for answers that show the candidate is dependable.)
15 Provide an example when your ethics were tested.
